Shiseido Otaku Beauty Event

On Wednesday 1st November Rise & Shine PR delivered a fully immersive brand event for Shiseido to demonstrate Otaku – the Japanese word for obsession or passion for (beauty).

It was carefully designed to showcase the Shiseido Japanese heritage and range via interactive stations for guests to learn and experience. 

50 top lifestyle media and influencers attended and amplified the experience on their platforms. Plus, six of Shiseido’s heads from Singapore, including the President & CEO of Singapore Asia Pacific, Nicole Tan, attended.

The launch event was incredibly successful with 100% share rate from influencers who attended, over 200 mentions across social media, and features throughout all key media titles.

The activation had a few touches added to it and for the first time in NZ, was open to the public to experience for free on Saturday 4th November!

Studio 230 on Ponsonby Road was transformed with a 360 camera, a prize claw machine stacked with 30k of prizes, a hand massage station, a Seedlip non-alcoholic cocktail area, and so much more! Plus every attendee received a free Shiseido sample worth $58.

With over 400 members of the public through in 4 hours, everyone got to immerse themselves in the world of Shiseido and the feedback was outstanding.

Rise & Shine PR creative directed, managed, and executed the whole event, as well as a media relations campaign around the public event and ASR regime.
