Media & Influencer Launch Event for Shiseido’s New Era of Beauty Innovation: Vital Perfection

Shiseido, a beacon of beauty innovation for over a century, recently hosted an unforgettable launch event for New Zealand's top beauty and lifestyle media and influencers to reveal their latest skincare breakthrough: a renewed Vital Perfection range.

Amidst the luxurious ambiance of the Park Hyatt, Rise & Shine PR conceptualised and orchestrated a mid-morning event to dial up key messaging for both the new products and brand.  Captivating guests from the moment they arrived, the Boat House space was transformed through white structural floral arrangements, a branded media wall, branded marble structures and custom-made low white lacquer tables with black cushions reminiscent of a modernised Japanese tea ceremony. Each detail was carefully curated by Rise & Shine to immerse guests in the world of Shiseido’s Vital Perfection and dial up the brands Japanese heritage.

 

The star of the event was none other than Anne Hathaway, the brand’s new ambassador, whose presence via large light box displays and a captivating short film, underscored the prestige of the Vital Perfection range.

Chris Kennedy-Grant, from Cosmax NZ representing Shiseido New Zealand, took the stage to introduce the groundbreaking Vital Perfection creams. The new Vital Perfection range, powered by three patented technologies, represents the culmination of years of research and development.  Alongside her presentation, guests could observe a Vital Perfection Magic Moments facial massage demonstration, which is something the brand offers as part of their counter services.  

 

After the presentation, attendees were treated to a sensory journey into the world of Vital Perfection.  Plated on specially sourced white Japanese-inspired ceramic dishes, five sweet and savoury artfully designed pastries (that included key Vital Perfection hero ingredients), were served alongside hot safflower tea - Safflower being the hero ingredient of the range. All the while hand massages were offered, to showcase the immediate hydrating effect of the new creams and offer a self-care moment.

 

Guests left with a curated selection of Shiseido treasures, including the new Vital Perfection advanced cream, a handmade lemon-yuzu tart and explanation of the self-massage application technique, empowering them to unlock the full potential of their skincare routine.

We were delighted with the feedback and guest attendance, plus coverage off the back of the event has been strong with a 93% share rate on the day, plus editorial throughout trusted titles and publications. 

 

Luci Marshall
