Here are our top event production tips:

1. Be strategic. Keep looking back at the brief and make sure you’re addressing the objectives. Revisit these objectives post-event to glean learnings and keep yourself in-check.

2. Be creative. Treat event-worn media and influencers to a unique experience that they are thrilled to capture. Produce surprising events that stand out by appealing to the psychology of the senses – check all the sight, sound, touch, smell and taste boxes.

3. Team up with an army of the best suppliers in the business and make sure you collaborate with those you can trust to help execute the vision. The planning process is integral, so you want to work with suppliers who are good communicators and deliver on their promise. Shake things up by using different suppliers to achieve varied looks and vibes - don’t fall into a cookie-cutter event vision.

4. Nail the invite list and keep guests sweet by giving them loads of notice and clear instructions. Don’t let your lists become stagnant, have your ear and eye to the ground discovering new brand fans. Make sure that every guest that has given up their time to attend your event is greeted and farewelled warmly and familiarly and feels the value you place on their presence.

5. Have crisis management strategies in place for mitigating the uncontrollable. Be meticulous with your planning and consider every doomsday scenario because life throws us weather, illness and supply issues from time to time.
